CHI-Ekalavya School - NS Palya

School History

Ekalavya School was set up in the year 2007 with LKG to class V as one of the ICFAI Republic Schools. The objective of this school is providing quality education to slum children attending the school from one of the 3 slums in NS Palya. The present school strength is 265.

Facilities in the school

The school is housed in I floor in NS Palya. It has 10 class rooms and separate rooms for HM, Admin and academic staff. The school environment is designed to facilitate education with well-ventilated class rooms, educational aids and user- friendly toilets. The library has a range of children's books, reference books, CDs and educational materials, designed to stimulate curiosity and the reading habit in children. The school has a compact and well-designed AV room and science Lab. The school is equipped with firefighting system and CCTV cameras. A water purifier is installed and maintained regularly to provide pure drinking water to staff and students. Students get mid-day meals from Akshaya Patra every day.
