Ekalavya School - Fateh Nagar

School History

Ekalavya School Fatehnagar was established in May 2004 as one of the ICFAI Republic Schools. The school started from Nursery to class V and eventually upgraded till class X. The present strength of the school is 325.

Basic aim of starting the school was to offer quality education with equal opportunities to all children irrespective of their caste, creed, and religion or social and economic status to children from the urban slums in and around Fatehnagar. The academic curriculum was so designed that it will support the child by providing educational excellence with life skills, self-confidence with emphasis on spoken and written English

From the very beginning of the school, students were provided with healthy mid-day meal as school management believed that food is the main source of energy which keeps the child mentally alert and physically fit. At present, Mid-day meal is provided in association with Akshaya Patra Foundation. The students of this school reside within the radius of 5-10 km around the school.

Facilities in the school

High school is housed in G+2 storied building with basement facility. It has 8 class rooms and separate rooms for TIC, staff and Admin. It has state of art library and fully equipped computer lab with internet facility for providing online tutoring classes for Class X students.

Primary and middle school is housed in G+2 building. It has 9 class room and separate rooms for HM, staff and admin staff. Both the buildings are provided with separate toilets for Boys, Girls and staff members and are equipped with firefighting systems and have purified drinking water facility. It has state of art library and fully equipped computer lab, AV room/sports room.
