Health Camp @Ekalavya School, LeninNagar

A general health check-up camp was organized in the school on 21,Dec 2016 for students. Dr. K. Narender Reddy MBBS, and Dr. K. Geethanjali, MBBS attended the camp to examine the students. This is a preventive and curative health care measure taken to detect deficiencies and general health of children.

A Health card was issued to each student with date of examination, height and weight parameters.

Some students were diagnosed for common problems in like vitamin deficiency, fever, cold, tonsillitis, headache, dental, eyes and ears and tooth decay. All children were explained the importance of cleanliness and good hygienic practices to be followed.

Their parents were called and were told to take the children for referral check-up by specialists for further treatment. Teachers were requested to follow up with the parents in implementing the investigations done.
