Teachers' Day Celebrations at Ekalavya School Leninnagar (2016)

Teachers Daywas celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm at Ekalavya School, LeninNagar . The day started with giving a tribute to Dr. Saravpalli Radhakrishnan.
The day had an emotional and recreational touch. The students did all the preparations with complete energy and excitement.
Teachers day celebrated on 3.9.16. On this day, it is school as usual for children but with a difference. There are no studies, no classes are held and none of the usual activities are carried out.
Instead, there are big preparations for this much awaited day. The celebrations started off with the Teachers' day speech and thanking teachers which was followed by cultural programmes. Students entertained teachers with games like music chair, bun eating, candle lighting and some other activities and a feast. Teachers were presented gifts given by management.
Students acted as teachers on this day and managed regular school activities.
Eco friendly Ganesh idols creation competition was also coducted.
Teachers planned potluck and shared lunch with class X students .
All teachers and HM gave valuable speech to students.
