World Yoga Day- 21.June.2015

Ekalavya School, MK Nagar in association with The Art of Living and Sports authority of Telangana celebrated world yoga day at Cycling Velodrome, Osmania University, Hyderabad from 6:30 to 8:30 in the morning.

The students of Ekalavya School, MK Nagar participated very actively in the International Yoga Day which was observed on 21st June 2015. The students of Classes VI to X assembled in the school at 5.45 a.m. and reached the stadium at 6.20 a.m.Despite the threat of heavy downpour playing spoilsport on Sunday, over 50 Students and Teachers participated on the occasion. It was a proud moment for our students to participate in such great event along with many celebrities. The chief guest of the program was International table tennis player and youngest journalism graduate of India Naina Jaiswal. More than 500 people participated in this event. The well known comedian of Telugu cinema Mr.Janardhan Rao appreciated the activeness and determination of our students. He also congratulated the teachers for encouraging and facilitating the students to participate in such noble and great event. There was good media coverage and the same was telecasted in various news channels on Sunday evening. Cannel V6 had a maximum coverage of our students.

Father’s Day- 21.June.2015

The students of Ekalavya School, MK Nagar observed Father’s day on 21st June 2015.

Bal Bhavan in Nampally conducted various competitions for students of Hyderabad on this occasion. 20 students from Ekalavya School, MK Nagar participated in competitions like painting, essay writing, extempore and singing. Students from many schools participated. Our students did try their best to compete with the other school students. Results will be announced on 28th June 2015. It was a free registration programme. The material required for the competition was provided by them. They also provided good snacks to the students.

CRISP & SIF-APTS celebrated internal event of FATHER’S DAY 2015 in collaboration with JAWAHAR BAL BHAVAN with school children at Hyderabad. 20 students from Ekalavya School, MK Nagar participated in competitions like painting, essay writing, extempore and singing. Students from many schools participated. Among the 500 participants 7 students from our school won the prizes

The Chief guests for the occasion were the Chief Guests Justice Challa Kodandaram of High Court, Justice B.Chandra Kumar former Judge of High Court, Kumar Jagirdhar - CRISP National President and Founder, Mr. Bhaskar (Secretary Jawahar Bal Bhavan ) Sanjay Thumma (Vah-Chef), Smt. Sai, Praveen Chand with SIF-APTS Team. It was a very proud moment for our school students to receive the trophy and the certificates on the occasion. Many celebrities were also present. They appreciated our school students for their active involvement in most of the competitions. Many News channels covered the event. Our students performed dance, song and pyramids formation on the stage. This was the first time that they performed on such big stage in front of many audiences. Major leading newspapers covered the event and the little ones from our school felt very proud to show their achievements to their parents, friend and relatives.
