Olympic Day 2017 at Future School

Olympic Day allows the whole world to share the joy of sport, get involved in sport and unite behind Olympic Values.
It was the 31st edition of the OLYMPIC DAY organized under the aegis of Indian Olympic Association & Olympic association of Telangana, in collaboration with Sports authority of Telangana State and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation on 23rd June 2017.
The run took place on 23rd June 2017 at 7:00am. Different centers were allotted to start up the run. Many schools participated for this event
The students of Future School also participated in this event. Nearly 34 students took part with three teachers guiding them. The students were very excited for this event.
The student started their journey from future school to reach to their center which was at Charminar, Hyderabad. The students travelled by train and reached their by 6:00 am. They were nearly 15 schools present at the center.
The chief guest at the Charminar center was “Sri. A. Venkateshwara Reddy, Chairman, SATS”, “ Challa Bharath Kumar Reddy, Managing Director, Nandi Tyres pvt.Ltd”.
The children were treated with warm welcome and by giving with some refreshment. The run started at 7:00am and the destination allotted was at Lal Bahadur indoor stadium which was for about 5 km from Charminar.
The chief guest invited for this event in Lal Bahadur Stadium was “Sri. T.Padma Rao Goud- Minister for excise and Prohibition”, followed by “Sri Bonthu Rammohan-H.W mayor, GHMC “ & “Sri. Asaduddin Owiasi- MLA”.
The students reached the Lal Bahadur stadium at around 8:00 am which was followed by Valedictory Function at 8:30am. The Chief Guest encouraged and motivated the children saying them to participate in this event every year.
The students took photos with the guest and represented the school.
The students were also given the certificates. The students enjoyed the event and came back to school by 11:00 am.
