September 5, the birthday of the second President of India, academic philosopher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan is celebrated as Teachers' Day.

It is considered a "celebration" day, where teachers and students report to school as usual but the usual activities and classes are replaced by activities of celebration, thanks and remembrance.

The programme of the teachers’ day celebration was held in Future School, Manikeshwari Nagar on 3/9/2016. As part of the celebration activities many students acted as teachers and enjoyed the work of teaching. The responsibility of 'teaching' is taken up by the senior students to show appreciation for their teachers (As a proverb says 'Best way of appreciation is imitation'!).

Students come dressed in colorful saris and welcome the teachers with flowers.

The early morning assembly which is usually done by the students of the school is done by the teachers on this day.

The students also co operated with the new teachers (students) well. The teaching was done for 4 periods. Then for the last two periods there was games organized for the teachers by Class X Students. The students gave the greeting cards prepared by them to their teachers. Gifts were also given to the teachers to express their love for their teachers.
