District level Child Rights Parliament- 15

Preliminary round for the District Level Children's Parliament was conducted on Ekalavya School, NS Palya Bengaluru on 31/10/2015 Saturday from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

30 students from surrounding schools participated in this programme and 10 students from Ekalavya School, NS Palya Bengaluru involved actively.

Children's Parliament has been conducted by Karnataka Child Rights Observatory (KCRO) since 2006. KCRO has a lot of member organizations and NGO's working with children with Child Right's Trust as its secretariat. Every year, children from all over Karnataka get a chance to sit in a parliament session with the CM of the State at Vidhana Soudha. More than the final event, the journey is awakening.

The preliminary round will have children elect their own representatives who will speak for all of them at the next level and so forth. For more information, please visit www.kcro.in
