Guru Purnima Celebrations 2016 at Ekalavya School, Leninnagar

Guru Purnima was celebrated at Ekalavya school, Lenin nagar on July 19, 2016 with great fervor.

The students gather in their school on this auspicious day and there are various programs that are hosted.

various classical songs with the theme of revering Guru's were

sung by the students. They depicted the sacred relations of a teacher/Gurtu with their disciple/student.

Speeches given by teachers and HM and told about importance of gurus.

Apart from songs there are different recitations and shlokas that are read out which are dedicated to the teachers.

"Just as the moon shines by reflecting the light of the sun,

and glorifies it, all disciples can dazzle like the moon by

gaining from their Gurus"
