Independence Day Celebrations(2015)

69th Independence day of India was celebrated in very pompous and Splendid way at the Ekalavya school, Bangalore.Every Year its celebrated with great zeal at the school. This year great preparations were made in the school. Every one was eager to take part in the Independent Day Celebration.
Chief guest: Mr. Sanjay Anandram
Other Guests: Murrali Chakravarthy, Murali Rao, Dinesh.
Program of the Day:
Early in the morning of the 15th August we gathered in the school at 8.00 am.
Exactly at 9.00 am the flag was hoisted by Murrali Chakravarthy.
Everyone stood in attention to give salute to the flag.
After the flag hoisting, ‘Jana Gana Mana’ was sung and the Scouts band played the tune. The flag ceremony came to a close after the pyramid program.
Chief guest Mr. Sanjay Anandram (who has been a patron of the school) distributed the prizes for winners in sports, academic activities and SSLC toppers.
Mr. Murrali Chakravarthy & Murali Rao gave inspiring speeches. They encouraged the students to work hard and become worthy and responsible citizens of the country.
Programs lasted for one and half hour; all the speeches and dances motivated every one remembering national leaders.
SSLC topper students were honored on the occasion and they felt very elated and expressed their gratitude to all the teachers and management for their victory in SSLC.
Conclusion:
This day always remind us of the enormous sacrifices of freedom fighters. We should worship those patriots who shed their blood for achieving Freedom.
Program concluded by distributing the sweets to everyone who attended the program.
