Visit to School for Blind

As a part of Social Awareness Programs for Students (which is one of the four types of Student Development Initiatives of Ekalavya Schools) , High school students visited RAMANA MAHARSHI ACADEMY FOR THE BLIND on 18/11/15 which was in JP Nagar III phase< Bengaluru. Our School got permission to visit upon request with their office.

Our students went to blind school on 18/11/15, Wednesday and they spent almost 2 hours in the school interacting with all blind children and the school staff provided demonstration of braille script reading and writing.

Our Students became aware of the education method followed in blind schools.

Students told it was heart touching visit and they learned that 'Disability is not inability' in this visit.
